The graduates of this program must imbue the Christian principles of justice, honesty, and self-reliance; exercise competence intellectually and technologically in business affairs to improve the business condition of the local, national, and global communities; exemplify the values of fairness in dealing with organizational, administrative, and managerial tasks and responsibilities in a changing environment; uplift their professional skills by adopting modern and updated trends in the business world; be employable in both public and private sectors with strong spiritual and moral values in order to promote high standard of ethics in the service; and manifest leadership qualities, civic-mindedness and responsible citizenship in business afairs.
The graduates of the teacher-education program must show dedication and pride of their profession; live as committed Christian teachers whose primary concern is the interest and welfare of the students; perform efficiently and effectively their duties and other related functions in school; apply current and relevant approaches, methodologies and techniques in teaching; demonstrate genuine enthusiasm and communicate to the teaching ministry and to the community with strong faith in God; assess students’ performance accurately and efficiently using the traditional and alternative authentic assessment tools; use appropriate technology in teaching; and must pursue continuously in acquiring new knowledge and skills to meet the demands of education in general.
The graduates of this program must live up to their rational capacities and spiritual aspirations with better understanding of the community where they live; demonstrate general knowledge of the various basic education components necessary in pursuing other course/s or field of endeavor; show competence and refinement in taste and manner to relate with private and public institutions and community; respect man’s dignity, ideals and values, his environment and experiences; and share human and material resources towards the development of the locality with strong faith in God.
The graduates of this program must apply scientific and evidence-based practices critical to the educational and learning processes; demonstrate skillful performance in a variety of physical activities; adapt performance to variety of physical activity settings (e.g. formal classes, recreational, and competitive); critically examine the curriculum (e.g. content, pedagogy and assessments) and program, and enhance (e.g. innovate) them necessarily; plan and implement safe and effective physical activity programs to address the needs of individual and groups in school and/or non-school settings; monitor and evaluate physical activity programs in school and/or non-school settings; use appropriate assessments in, as and for student or client learning; use information, media and technology in pedagogy and for lifelong learning; demonstrate firm work/professional ethics; cultivate solidarity by working and dealing with/relating to others harmoniously; promote the advancement of the profession by making sense of and getting involved in current discourse that impacts on the profession; pursue lifelong learning for personal and professional development; communicate effectively with PE practitioners, other professionals and stakeholders; and use oral, written, and technology formats deftly.
Organizations and clubs are important sources for formation on social living.
For this reason, the school encourages every student to become an active member of three (3) organizations.
