07 Jul HCCC Celebrates Mass of the Holy Spirit
The entire Holy Cross College of Calinan. Inc. community celebrated the Mass of the Holy Spirit last June 22, 2018, Friday at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Calinan, Davao City.
Msgr. Maximo Sarno, CP, the Sacred Heart Parish Priest, presided over the Holy Mass of both the Basic Education Department in the morning and the College Department in the afternoon.
In this same celebration, the administrators, faculty and staff of both departments participated in the ‘Sending Forth Ceremony” presided by Msgr. Sarno and the School President, Sr. Lorna B. Murillo, pm.
Since its establishment in 1948, the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary (PM) in Calinan and other PM schools traditionally open the academic year by celebrating the Mass, which invokes the Holy Spirit’s guidance on the community’s learning.
